ZÉ DELIVERY
AL MOSSAR
Albatroz. Algebra. Algodão. Alquimia. Words in Brazilian Portuguese that came from Arabic languages. And because of that, people think almoçar, which means lunch, has Arabic roots too. It doesn't. And on Sundays, almoçar has another meaning: cold beer and football.
Football is another part of the Brazilian culture recently impacted by Arabic countries. So, instead of fighting their petrodollars, Zé Delivery – the top beer delivery app in the country and sponsor of the local league – got inspired by the Saudi League's Al-Ittihad, Al Hilal, and Al-Nassr to turn almoçar into Al Mossar Football Club.
Creating a real life and videogame team, sparking a movement to protect local football, sharing their revenue from beer sold in the app with the clubs, so they can have enough money to keep the best players in the country.
